Original Neapolitan Wafers
Enjoy the taste of Vienna!
Available anywhere and everywhere in a handy pack and with the same high quality, Manner’s beloved wafers have been a part of our lives for many generations. Give in to temptation and enjoy a piece of history!
Manner wafers are made up of five layers of tender wafer filled with four layers of delicate hazelnut cocoa cream. The wafers are cut into bite-size pieces. The double aluminum foil with the red tear strip was introduced in the 1960s and has been keeping this classic product fresh and crispy to this very day.
Did you know?
Manner Original Neapolitan Wafers were invented in 1898 by the company’s founder Josef Manner I. The format and basic recipe remain unchanged to this day. At the moment, up to 4,000 Manner wafers are sold each day in the Manner shop on Vienna’s Stephansplatz alone. Around two packs of Manner wafers are eaten every second!
